The Den - a beautiful open space on the lower level of the Retreat House with gorgeous stained concrete heated floors with cozy comfortable surroundings, view to backyard with walk-out french doors.
Entryway - upon arrival, guests mindfully walk up to the main entry with a purposeful meandering welcome to slow you down.
Kitchen & Nook - the energy of this space must be experienced. A continuation of the Great Room provides never ending opportunities for expansive deep breaths of calm, organic laughter & felt community.

Spring Burn - the Retreat House is located at Standing Tall Reserve, a healing woodland & botanical sanctuary. The spring burn is an annual festivity of preparing the soil for new growth.
The Land - an invigorating, unpaved & steep meander down to the creek, officially known as The Mazon River, provides a wildish adventure through seasonal changes of our natural and native landscape.
Native Landscape - our property is certified as a Conservation at Home Property, Illinois Acres for Wildlife & a Monarch Butterfly Waystation.
